This month I decided that we would be traveling with our new puppy, Posh, around the world. Of course both the World Dog Show and Beautiful Waters Conformation were nearly on the same day. Being a day apart meant that we would have to take a private jet to Brazil, and even then we would be doing it with very little sleep.

After the WDS, Posh and I jumped on to a plane for a 13 Hour flight. I was pushing Posh's good behavior with two back to back shows that were large in size. Luckily our show time wasn't very early, and I was hoping to be on the ground for an hour or so before our ring time.

As the plane landed I was gathering the stuff we would need. We had exactly one hour till our ring time. Posh was restless, and ready to be on the ground. I hooked her to a leash and pottied her. Brazil was pretty warm for what we were used to this time of year. I was glad I grabbed Posh's wet coat. Then we jump into a rental car and off to the showsite. 
I could see the look in Posh's eyes that this show experience might be a wild ride, and I wasn't planning on letting her do whatever she wanted. Posh which was generally gaited on a loose lead, was on a tight lead to keep her from grabbing it. She stood but for no longer than she had to for the judge. As we continued to show she loosened up, and behaved better.
